Atikus, finalists of the 2014 Social Venture Competition was recognized as one of the 10 socially responsible startups changing the way New York does business. Atikus is a socially focused enterprise that underwrites and insures commercial microcredit loans to small businesses in developing countries by providing "the platform to connect to lenders, opening up a path for qualified entrepreneurs to find the capital they need at rates they can afford".
