MBA Students Take "Doing Business in… Argentina" Course

In May, a group of MBA students traveled to Buenos Aires for the Spring 2014 "Doing Business in... Argentina" course. Highlights of the trip included corporate visits to Fox News and an Argentinian winery as well as daily lectures on financial markets, private equity funds and consumer behavior in South America.

“DBi Argentina was an amazing opportunity and experience for someone like me, who never had the opportunity to study abroad as an undergraduate,” said MBA student Brian Chase. “Throughout the course, we felt ourselves immersed in Argentinian culture – from soccer games and trips to Iguazu, Mendoza and Patagonia, to the abundance of amazing steak and delicious Malbec. Learning firsthand about the political and economic instability in Argentina from accomplished and experienced professors gave us great insight into doing business within the country and within similar emerging markets across Latin America.”
