MBA Students Take “Doing Business in… Costa Rica” Course

In March, a group of MBA students traveled to San Jose for the “Doing Business in (DBi) Costa Rica” course.  Students attended lectures at INCAE Business School on sustainability and the economy, public policy and industry competition as well as the role of business in national development goals. They also had the opportunity to tour Hotel Finca Rosa Blanca and Doka Estate Coffee to learn from industry representatives.

“As someone interested in corporate social responsibility and sustainability (CSR), the DBi to Costa Rica was a fantastic addition to my MBA experience,” said MBA student Kate Isenberg. “Seeing practices that we learn about in class firsthand, and being in a country that so highly values sustainability was truly inspiring.  This trip should be a requirement for anyone who wants to go into CSR!”
