Biography

Angela leads Sustainability Value Creation for EQT's Private Capital business line. Her role is to drive sustainability value creation through the investment lifecycle by supporting ESG due diligence, elevating sustainability understanding at the management team and portfolio company level and working with the deal teams to drive adoption and measurable outcomes. Angela has a global role, covering healthcare, tech and services in Europe and North America. Angela is also an adjunct professor at Columbia Climate School, in New York teaching Sustainability Value Creation in Private Markets.

In her previous role, Angela was a member of Grant Thornton's ESG Leadership team where she played a key role in designing and standing up the advisory function which focused on ESG integration through implementation and sustainability strategy setting. Prior to Grant Thornton, Angela spent almost a decade at Accenture Strategy, supporting clients in realizing sustainability value through growth and efficiency levers. Her experience spans many industries including private equity, asset management, healthcare, software, technology, professional services, real estate, consumer goods and energy/infrastructure in both the UK and United States, as well as international bodies such as the World Economic Forum, World Bank and United Nations. Angela graduated from Columbia University, in the School of International Public Affairs for a Masters in Public Administration in New York City. Angela is currently a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and was a Yunus and You Business Mentor.

Angela started her career focused on the public-private policy creation and strategy implementation, working for both Hounslow and Nottingham City Council.

Angela was a Trustee for the charities UK Youth and Raleigh International as well as an active One Young World Ambassador. Angela was the Curator of the 30 Network in London, a group of 30 under 30 youth leaders for the Youthful Cities initiative.
