About Isabelle Glimcher
Isabelle Glimcher is a Senior Research Scientist on the Global Labor team at the NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights. Her research focuses on the structural drivers of forced labor and enforcement of forced labor import bans around the world. Building on that research, Isabelle is working to identify practical solutions to mitigate forced labor and advocating with companies to implement those solutions.
Before joining the Center, Isabelle was a litigation associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, where she advised multinational corporations and civil society organizations on transnational litigation, investment arbitration, public international law, and supply chain governance. She also maintained an active pro bono practice especially focused on forced migration. She holds a JD from NYU School of Law, a Master's in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from Oxford, and a Bachelor's degree from Harvard.
