Jiarui Liu joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Marketing in September 2023.
Liu’s research aims to understand consumers’ choices under external influences, such as social interactions or limited information, with a focus on sustainability. In a recent paper, she uses structural modeling and econometric methods to study consumers’ decisions to purchase electric vehicles under social influences, as well as proposing firm policies that are both sustainable and profitable.
