Travis Ringger

Biography

Professor Ringger joined New York University Stern School of Business as an adjunct faculty member in January 2021. His specialty is applying technology and data analytics to improve business efficiency and accounting information access.

During his career at PwC, Professor Ringger has worked as an IT auditor, data analytics specialist, and product and technology director in a variety of industries including banking, manufacturing, education, and consumer products.

While earning his MBA at Northwestern in 2014, Professor Ringger realized advances in data analytics would change the way people perform their jobs. He remains committed to teaching people of all skill levels and backgrounds how to use new tools to work smarter. His favorite consulting engagements are those where technology elevates both the quality of his clients’ accounting and audit functions, as well as the working lives and productivity of their employees.
