Venue Policies
New York City Center Information
The New York City Center is located on West 55th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues in New York City. Please visit the venue’s website for more details about nearby parking and transportation, as well as general policies:
- The New York City Center asks all guests to arrive early and travel light. Any luggage brought into the theater will need to be checked at coat check. The venue cannot accommodate bags larger than a carry-on.
- Photography and recording devices are strictly prohibited.
- Every person must have a ticket. If you have an infant or small child even if they will be sitting on your lap, they must have a ticket.
- New York City Center’s spaces are all wheelchair accessible. For more information, visit the venue’s Accessibility page. In addition, please email graduateconvocation@stern.nyu.edu ahead of time with your requests.
