J. Annie Wang

Annie Wang previously worked in the Stern Finance Department where she was responsible for assisting faculty with Blackboard and managing the Finance website. In her position as Educational Technologist, Annie continues her work with Blackboard and assists faculty with Blackboard, Classrooms and Clicker questions and requests. Annie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and her Masters of Arts from NYU in Psychology with a concentration in visual and auditory perception.

Kristen Sosulski

Kristen Sosulski joined New York University Stern School of Business as Director of the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning and Clinical Assistant Professor of Information, Operations and Management Sciences in September 2011. She is the co-author of Essentials of online course design: A standards-based guide; (2011). Her most recent publication is a case study in Linking theories to practice: Case studies for working with college students (in-press).

During Welcome Week, Ania connected with her cohort and embarked on the semester-long Cohort Leadership Project designed to foster collaboration as well as individual growth. “The weekly cohort sessions as well as the numerous social events created an instant sense of community and friendship.”

Avi’s interest in diverse cultures began in middle school when he participated in international soccer tournaments. “Seeing the uniqueness of each region made me realize at a young age that I wanted to explore the world further,” he says. “One of the reasons I chose Stern is because of its emphasis on global business and its encouragement of international study. As part of my academic program, I’ve had the opportunity to live and study in three of the world’s key financial centers: New York, London, and Hong Kong.”

Andrea Baptista (BS '11)

As a student, Andrea founded NYU’s Association for International Development and Entrepreneurship and led her peers in entrepreneurial endeavors for charity. Her dedication to service work extended beyond campus as well. Over the past several years, Andrea’s been involved with various charitable causes and socially conscious organizations including Styleta, the non-profit she helped launch while still in school.

The company Hello Rewind, which recycles old t-shirts into custom laptop sleeves, provides survivors with job training and economic support. “Since Hello Rewind is still expanding, as Operations and PR Marketing intern, I had my hand in many different areas. I performed market research, wrote retail strategies, liaised with potential business partners, as well as processed orders and helped produce the laptop sleeves.”
