| Note: To maintain good standing in the program, a student must complete a research paper by the end of Year 3. The paper must be approved and signed by a faculty member of the Stern Economics Department. | |||

| Students are expected to take a number of math courses at Courant. | |||
STRATEGY TRACK
The requirements for the Strategy track are the same as those above, with the additional requirement of Strategy I and Strategy II courses and a Strategy comprehensive exam at the end of year 2.
