Student Network

Even though students in the online MSQM program complete most of their coursework online, they have access to an array of NYU and NYU Stern student resources and services.

Though many of the resources listed below are available online, please note that some are accessible only on campus.

NYU Student Services

• Bobst Library
  Students have access to the NYU library and may use all of its online and on-campus resources.
• Student Health Center
  Online MSQM students have access to the SHC if they opt into the NYUs Sponsored Student Health Insurance plan.
• NYU Palladium Athletic Facility
  Students may use the gym facilities at the Palladium for a small weekly fee.
• Leslie E-Lab
  Students may use the Lab’s co-working spaces, prototyping lab, and various entrepreneurship resources.
• Moses Center for Students with Disabilities
  Students with disabilities can register with the Moses Center and use the online portal for these services: accommodation letters, exam accommodations, supplemental class notes, and assistive technology. Student tutorial videos also are available on the site.
• Office of Global Services
  International students may use the resources of the Office of Global Services for visa counseling and I-20 applications.
• NYU Bookstore
  MSQM students are eligible for educational discounts on computer equipment.
• NYU Card Center
  Supplies MSQM students with NYUCards, which provide a discount in the NYU Bookstore, access to selected NYU buildings, campus transportation, and computer centers located throughout campus.

NYU Stern Student Services

• NYU Stern IT
  Students have access to Stern IT for help with account setup and other technical support.
• Apps@Stern
  A portfolio of software programs and packages is available to MSQM students.
• Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship
  Students may participate in the start-up competition, the $300K Entrepreneurs Challenge, and take advantage of other entrepreneurship resources.
• Military Veterans Club
  MSQM students are eligible for full membership in this club that is both a support and service organization for veterans.

Resources available to MSQM students while they are on campus also include printing stations, a variety of student lounges and study areas, the Sosnoff Lounge/Grad Cafe, and the Lactation Room.

Career Services

From the start of their program, MSQM students have access to robust online career management tools to create customized career action plans, including tailored resources to support their exploration.

During the second residential immersion, students may choose to participate in a workshop with career coaches from the Career Center for Working Professionals (CCWP) to further refine their personal strategic plans. In the final semester, students can meet one-on-one with a CCWP career coach either in person during office hours or by phone or video conference.

As an alumni of NYU Stern, MSQM students will have access to lifelong career support through the CCWP.
