Admissions

NYU Stern will be taking the 2026-2027 academic year to complete a review of the MiM program. As part of this process, we will not be accepting applications for the 2026-2027 admissions cycle.

Requirements

The MiM program is best suited for those early in their careers, typically six years or less of work experience.  And, while we don’t require a particular major, the program is best-suited for non-business majors.

All applicants must hold an undergraduate degree and demonstrate a mastery of English. Interviews are by invitation only and must be completed in order to be considered for admission. There are recommended prerequisite skills and knowledge areas to help students succeed in the program.

Selection Criteria

We seek students who best exemplify Stern's core value of IQ+EQ. Our admissions committee takes care to select those who demonstrate strong intellectual ability, superior interpersonal skills, and a desire to create value for business and society. Stern evaluates each candidate holistically across three dimensions:

  • Academic profile
  • Professional achievements & aspirations
  • Alignment with NYU Stern's core values.
