The 16th Annual Alumni Holiday Celebration at The New York Public Library: The Largest Alumni Event in Stern History

Nearly 1,200 alumni and guests gathered at The New York Public Library to celebrate their shared Stern heritage and greet the holiday season. Now in its 16th year, the Alumni Holiday Celebration provides an opportunity for the Stern community to come together at an iconic New York City venue and connect with fellow alumni from classes spanning 60-plus years.

Guests enjoyed access to three full floors of the Library, including Astor Hall and Balcony, the Gottesman Gallery, which featured a jazz trio, and the Celeste Bartos Forum, where guests danced to a DJ. The evening’s menu spotlighted iconic New York eats, complete with ‘Grand Central’ oysters and an assorted Junior’s themed cheesecake cart. Dean Henry joined faculty and Stern leadership in attendance and helped welcome attendees to the Celebration, which was the largest alumni event in Stern’s history.

Hosted by the Stern Alumni Council, the Alumni Holiday Celebration has become a School tradition and a special opportunity to bring the Stern community together. This year, the Council’s Recent Graduates Committee hosted its official After Party at Proper West, where guests continued the celebration. View photos.
