Scholars Program

The Initiative has established a Scholars Program for highly-qualified undergraduate students interested in this field to participate in a mentorship program, networking events, and internship programs.


The Initiative sponsors a highly selective Scholars Program for undergraduate students exhibiting academic excellence and a strong interest in pursuing a career in investment management. The Scholars Program will provide students with dedicated mentorship and career management advice, primarily through mentorship opportunities and other events organized by the Initiative.

How can students apply to the Investment Management Initiative Scholars Program?

Undergraduate students may apply to the Scholars Program in the sophomore or junior years. The Scholars Program is a two year program.

Applications should include:

  • CV/resume
  • Transcript
  • Statement of interest highlighting their participation in investing clubs, activities, and/or contests
  • Identification of specific area(s) of investment management to focus on
  • Proposed (non-binding) course of study
    • For example, students interested in systematic trading can point to coding and econometric capabilities, list the programming and statistics courses they have taken/plan to take, and detail plans to take Quantitative Investing and/or apply to the systematic sleeve of Managing Investment Funds

Any supplementary material such as pitches or analysis they have done through the various events and competitions organized by the Initiative Scholars will be expected to maintain strong academic performance and active participation in the events organized by the Initiative.
