Leadership Storytelling Summit

Students transform personal experiences into stories that inspire and influence others.

Over two tech-free days, students build presence and emotional intelligence by crafting and delivering personal stories. Through real-time feedback and peer coaching, they learn to speak with authenticity, connect with others, and lead through story.
Three pairs of students sit engaged in conversation in a room featuring two large blue couches, two comfy linen chairs, and two large house plants. In the center forefront, two feminine-presenting people sit on a blue couch, one with her back to the camera and the other, smiling as she looks at her partner, facing the camera. On the far right, two feminine-presenting converse in the windowsill.

"The combination of formal instruction and peer coaching at the Leadership Storytelling Summit was the perfect recipe to turn a straightforward story from loose ingredients into something impactful and compelling. I came away feeling more capable as a storyteller and as a leader, having built great connections with students from across the Stern MBA ecosystem."
