Executive MBA Students Explore Brazil and Chile on Global Study Tour

In September, a group of executive MBA students traveled to Santiago, Chile and Sao Paulo, Brazil on a Global Study Tour. Highlights of the program included meetings with executives from the Central Bank of Chile, Watts Alimentos, Banco de Brasil and Odebrecht as well as facility tours of De Martino Winery, Tam Linhas Aereas and Natura Cosmeticos.
"The recent Global Study Tour to Chile and Brazil was a phenomenal experience," said executive MBA student Brett Erasmus. "Our class had access to valuable information from senior staff at some of the best companies in the region, and we even had a private presentation by a Central Bank board member. Being immersed in a different culture really amplified how great this learning opportunity was, and I was amazed at how much knowledge I retained after the tour. Getting out of the classroom and traveling with classmates made this very enjoyable and now we all have a great shared memory of the experience."
