NYU Stern today announced its 2018-19 application deadlines and essays for its Full-time MBA, two focused MBAs (Andre Koo Tech MBA and Fashion & Luxury MBA) and Langone Part-time MBA programs.

Key 2018-19 highlights and new elements include:

• Added back the November deadline for the Full-time MBA (November 15)
• Added a new deadline for the Focused MBAs (February 15 – domestic applicants only)
• Combined professional recommendations and the EQ Endorsement to create two required EQ Endorsements: one is required by a direct supervisor, and the other is the applicant's preference (a professional or personal contact, excluding family members); in addition to requesting some prior recommendation elements such as an applicant’s principal strengths, both EQ Endorsements ask for testimonials from advocates of the applicant that illustrate a specific example of emotional intelligence
• Removed the option to be considered for multiple programs and the accompanying Program Preferences essay (former essay #2) as more than 95% of last year’s applicants submitted a primary preference only
• The popular Pick Six visual essay remains, requiring applicants to submit six images such as pictures, charts, infographics and artwork, along with six short captions, that best express themselves
