The student-led NYU Impact Investment Fund (NIIF) has completed its sixth investment, this time backing Rolli, a company dedicated to fostering a thriving media ecosystem by equipping journalists with innovative tools and resources.

NYU President Linda G Mills and Provost Georgina Dopico today announced that, following an international search, Bharat N. Anand—a vice provost at Harvard University and a chaired professor and renowned teacher at Harvard Business School (HBS)—has been named the Richard R. West Dean of NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and professor of business administration. He assumes his new duties in August 2025.

The Stern School of Business at NYU Abu Dhabi (Stern at NYUAD), a collaboration between the NYU Stern School of Business (NYU Stern) and NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), announced its official inauguration. The milestone moment was marked with a formal ceremony and a VIP tour of its state-of-the-art facilities on NYUAD’s campus.

The student-led NYU Impact Investment Fund (NIIF) has completed its latest investment with an investment in Maternova, a company that offers systemic solutions to improving maternal and neonatal health in low-resource settings by accelerating the commercialization of a fundamental set of medical devices needed to save maternal and newborn lives.

The NYU Stern School of Business (NYU Stern), one of the world’s premier research and teaching institutions, and NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), an exceptional liberal arts and research university, today announced the launch of the Stern at NYUAD One-year Full-time MBA Program.

The NYU Stern School of Business released a new book today, SVB and Beyond: The Banking Stress of 2023, authored by 10 leading accounting, economics, and finance scholars from NYU Stern, and including contributions from external collaborators.

The student-led NYU Impact Investment Fund (NIIF) has successfully completed its fourth investment with a $30,000 investment in EdVisorly, a Black- and female- founded business that has developed a community college-to-university platform, empowering community college students to connect with a university and achieve a bachelor’s degree.

NYU's Entrepreneurs Challenge came to an exciting close on May 12th by awarding more than $225,000 in startup funding and pro-bono services to the university's most innovative and promising startups. The awards were the culmination of a six-month long startup accelerator and venture competition, organized by the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship at NYU Stern.

IESE Business School and NYU Stern Executive Education are teaming up to launch the C-suite Pathway Program, a five-month immersive program delivered from New York City that prepares senior executives to excel at the highest organizational levels.

The NYU Stern School of Business is hosting three in-person graduation ceremonies this May to recognize graduates from the Class of 2023. These events will spotlight several speakers, including distinguished alumni, industry leaders, faculty, and students.

Today, Stern alumnus Andre J.L. Koo (MBA ’94), Chairman of the Chailease Group, Chair of the NYU Stern Executive Board, and member of the NYU Board of Trustees, was selected by NYU as this year’s sole recipient of the Albert Gallatin Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Society. Mr. Koo will be honored at NYU’s Pre-Commencement events in May.

Today, New York University Stern School of Business announced a landmark gift of $53.6 million from alumna Anne E. Tasca (BS ’88) that represents three remarkable milestones for the School: the largest single gift in the School’s history; the largest total giving amount from a woman donor; and the largest total testamentary commitment ever received from a single donor by the School. 

Today, New York University Stern School of Business announced a new $25 million testamentary gift from alumnus and Stern Executive Board member Kenneth G. Langone (MBA ’60) and his wife, Elaine, for scholarships to support the School’s Langone Part-Time MBA Program, especially military veterans and active-duty military personnel in the program.
