On Monday, April 28, 2025, NYU Stern's Center for Global Economy and Business and the Volatility and Risk Institute will co-host a panel discussion titled "Making Sense of the Recent Gyrations in USD and Treasury Markets." 

On Friday, April 25, NYU Stern's Volatility & Risk Institute will present its Sixth Annual Conference, titled, “Nonbank Financial Intermediation and Financial Stability.” Clinical Professor Richard Berner, co-director of the Institute, will deliver opening remarks.

On Thursday, April 24, the NYU Stern Chen Institute for Global Real Estate, Deutsche Bank, and the Real Estate Pride Council will host the 2025 Real Estate Pride Roundtable.

A sampling of media highlights for the week of April 8, 2025

The Department of Accounting at NYU Stern School of Business will host the Four-School Accounting Research Conference on Friday, April 4, 2025.

This annual conference brings together accounting researchers from four leading northeastern business schools, Columbia Business School, NYU Stern, Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale School of Management.

NYU President Linda G Mills and Provost Georgina Dopico today announced that, following an international search, Bharat N. Anand—a vice provost at Harvard University and a chaired professor and renowned teacher at Harvard Business School (HBS)—has been named the Richard R. West Dean of NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and professor of business administration. He assumes his new duties in August 2025.

Excerpt from Poets&Quants — "In the Khubani BTE program, we participate in a capstone project in our senior year where we find a problem and create a minimum viable product (MVP) for a solution we devise. The project is the culmination of all the work we have put in as entrepreneurs throughout our time in Stern’s BTE program. I am incredibly proud of the product my partner and I created. I believe we found a real opportunity to make work more fun and efficient that is worth pursuing further. Starting an entrepreneurial project takes a lot of time, effort, and comfort with uncertainty and I feel that I have grown significantly through the experience."
