RSVP, Ticketing, and Name Cards
RSVP and Tickets to Stern's Graduate Convocation
Electronic tickets are required for all candidates and their guests. NOTE: A maximum of three guest tickets may be requested by each eligible graduate, in addition to their candidate ticket. Per MSG policy, children under 2 years old may attend without their own ticket, but they must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap and may not occupy their own seat.
Online RSVP will be available in mid-March. Please check back for a link to the Online RSVP form.
Extra Tickets: When the official RSVP period ends (TBD April), we will review our ticket inventory and send out an announcement regarding extra tickets, if available.
Name Card Distribution: In addition to a candidate e-ticket, graduates will also need to bring their name card, which will be required to cross the stage on-site on May 15. Name cards will be distributed by Stern administrators. Check back soon for a distribution schedule.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- One (1) electronic ticket must be retained by the graduate for access to the venue on May 15.
- All event tickets will be general admission (no assigned seats on May 15), so please disregard assigned seat numbers on the e-ticket. Graduates are seated early and separately at the front of the theater upon arrival at 2:15pm ET.
- Screenshots of tickets cannot be used to gain entry into the venue on May 15.
Prohibition of Ticket Sales: NYU strictly prohibits the direct or indirect sale or auction of Stern Graduate Convocation tickets. Ticket(s) may not be used for advertising, promotion (including contests, giveaways, or sweepstakes), or other trade or commercial purposes. Graduates engaging in such activities, as well as any other activity that disrupts the administration of the ceremony and/or violates any NYU student conduct policy, will be subject to NYU disciplinary sanctions, including without limitation the delayed issuance of a degree or diploma.
