NYU Impact Investment Fund (NIIF)
Developed as a joint venture between the faculty and students of New York University's Stern, Wagner, and Law schools—the NYU Impact Investment Fund (NIIF) leverages the diverse expertise of business, public service, and law faculty to support student investors targeting social enterprises in the sectors of financial inclusion, environment, healthcare, aging, education, and food systems.
Students will also have access to the MIINT (MBA Impact Investing Network & Training) program which is an experiential on-line lab program designed to give students at graduate schools a hands-on education in impact investing. The NIIF Investment Committee will recommend one student team to compete in the finals of MIINT where top graduate schools present to a judging committee composed of industry leaders in impact investing. The MIINT aims to:
- Train the next generation of impact investors to “think like an impact investor” providing them with the opportunity to source, diligence, and present early stage impact investment ideas to an expert judging committee
- Build meaningful links between innovative mission-driven companies and leading business and graduate schools
- Create a vibrant network of students and practitioners active in the impact investing field
