How would you describe the culture and community within your class?

The community within the Stern Fashion & Luxury MBA program is extremely close. We spend time beyond the classroom together: group trips, dinners, and study groups. The FLUX cohort becomes a community filled with highly skilled and supportive individuals that will be friends and colleagues for life.

What was your favorite class at Stern?

I've really enjoyed Leadership with Professor Nate Petitt! It's one of your first classes and you get immersed immediately into Stern’s ethos of EQ + IQ. This class teaches you what leadership truly means, how to lead successfully, and what the responsibilities are required as a leader. It truly sets the tone for the next year and utilized in your group projects as well!

Why did you choose NYU Stern?

I wanted a program that was going to challenge me academically and push my finance skills through the lens of retail and consumer products. There's no other program out there that competes with Stern's Fashion and Luxury MBA Program. Also, the 1-year program gives you the benefits of the 2-year program, but condensed for a quicker return into the workforce!

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Identify the ways you'll be able to give back to your fellow students and share what makes you unique. While the application process is selective, there is no "ideal Stern MBA Candidate", so put your most authentic foot forward. Good luck and I hope to see you on campus!
