Why did you decide to pursue the focused one-year MBA program?
There are no other programs like this IN THE WORLD, let alone one with the resources that this program and institution can offer me.
How would you describe the culture and community within your class?
My cohort has brought a sense of warmth and support I didn't know to expect. I thought this program would be as cutthroat and competitive as the industry we study. This has definitely not been the case. From the days of orientation, everyone has offered to make introductions and extend their network in more ways than one. With each conversation, it is increasingly clear that we all want to see each other succeed.
Why did you choose NYU Stern?
Beyond the consistently high rankings, I have always viewed Stern as one of the premier institutions in the world, whether in part by its five-star faculty or its ever-expanding network of opportunities and resources.
What advice do you have for prospective students?
While the drive and ambition are necessary to make the most of this program, you don't need to know exactly what position you want to target right now. This program is just as much about learning about yourself as it is about understanding the industry.
How has Stern’s location in NYC impacted your experience?
You are always just a subway ride away from all of the stores you cover in your classes, the company offices you have class visits to, and the best neighborhoods to enjoy time out with your friends and classmates
