Connection Begins Here

Association of Hispanic & Black Business Students

A student organization devoted to enhancing the NYU Stern student experience through professional development, community building and social networking. AHBBS is open to all Stern students who share an interest in business programs that relate to Black and Hispanic cultures.


Stern Women in Business

Dedicated to advancing women in business school, SWIB hosts career networking, professional development, community service and social events open to Stern's community. The annual SWIB conference draws more than 400 Stern students, alums and professionals from the New York City area.



Stern’s LGBTQ+ club provides community to queer students and allies.

Stern Immersion Diversity Weekend - Hosted in the fall
Discover what is possible with a Stern MBA during our Stern Immersion Diversity Weekend, hosted each fall. The MBA Admissions team partners with the Association of Hispanic & Black Business Students (AHBBS) and Stern Women in Business (SWIB) to provide a series of events that showcase the Stern community and engage in discussion with fellow prospective students.

Forte Diversity Day - Hosted in the fall
Forté wants to help women who have historically been underrepresented in business move forward in their careers and grow as leaders. Don't miss Forté's Diversity Day to learn how an MBA can fast-track your success.

Consortium Chats - Hosted throughout the fall
Connect with admissions in a small group, virtual discussion to learn about the benefits of the Consortium, the application process, and the Consortium community at Stern.

Stern is a member of The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, an alliance of business schools and corporations dedicated to reducing the serious under-representation of African Americans, Hispanic Americans and Native Americans in business. Management Leadership for Tomorrow

Stern partners with Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), a 9-12 month program that helps young professionals apply successfully to leading graduate business schools. Learn more about the benefits of participating in MLT.

Stern participates in the annual conference of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), and many Stern students are members of the organization.

Stern is a partner school and participant in Graduate Horizons, which supports the higher education of Native American students by providing graduate admissions workshops to American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian students/participants from across the nation.
