*Total program cost includes all tuition and fees and a one-time $750 enrollment deposit applied toward tuition. It does not include associated room, board, and travel expenses for the two residential immersions.

Financial Aid

Loans

Students may be eligible to take out federal and/or private education loans to cover tuition and other education-related costs, which might include books and supplies, personal expenses, and transportation costs. For federal student loans, you must fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to include the FAFSA school code: 002785.

Students taking out loans should expect to pay loan origination fees to lenders.

Other Fees

Students must pay a $400 fee if they are required to take NYU Stern’s Business Writing workshop to satisfy the business writing proficiency requirement.

Scholarships/Alternative Funding

All applicants (domestic and international) are considered for merit-based scholarships. No additional materials are required. Scholarship decisions are made at the discretion of the Admissions Committee at the time of admission and are included in your official letter of admission. All scholarship decisions are final.

Philanthropic and professional organizations provide some educational funding to students who meet specific criteria. You can explore external sources of funding, including private scholarships and grants, through the NYU Stern Scholarship Database and Scholarship Tools.

Some students may be able to obtain funding from their employers to pursue a graduate business degree.
