Janina Farr

Vice President of New Digital Markets, Deutsche Börse AG

Janina is the Vice President of New Digital Markets at Deutsche Boerse.

She is responsible for the technology partner management and the governance structure of D7. Deutsche Boerse’s D7 platform is a regulatory compliant, fully digital post-trade infrastructure for financial institutions to issue electronic securities. The D7 platform leverages the newly created Digital Instruments, a digital description of the securities. Therefore D7 will provide a fully digital alternative to conventional physical issuance and processing of securities. It paves the way for same-day-issuance and paperless and automated straight-through processing throughout the entire value chain of issuance, custody, settlement and asset servicing for digital securities.

Janina is with Deutsche Boerse in Chicago since 2014 and focuses on DLT since 2016. She completed her undergrad in Germany and is currently finishing up her MBA at Kellogg School of Management. At Kellogg, she is the president of the Kellogg Blockchain Club and drives the understanding and importance of blockchain and digital assets technology.
