Karen Weinseiss
Karen Weinseiss is Senior Vice President of Customer Experience Operations at Healthfirst, where she leads operations across contact center, appeals and grievances, utilization management, care management, behavioral health, and delegated vendor management for a workforce of more than 5,400. She has more than 30 years of experience across managed care, health insurance, and financial services, with deep expertise in clinical and service operations, medical cost management, and the application of automation and responsible AI to member and provider experience. Before joining Healthfirst in 2020, Karen was Vice President of Utilization and Quality Management Excellence at CVS Health, and earlier spent more than 12 years at Aetna, culminating as Senior Vice President of International Healthcare Management, where she led global medical management and provider networks and launched more than 40 international health plans across Asia and the Middle East. Earlier in her career, she held director and COO roles at GE Capital across the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Karen holds a B.A. in Economics and German from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in International Business and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
