Stern Healthcare Association

The Stern Healthcare Association, an MBA student club, brings together students who have an interest in the healthcare industries. SHA hosts events throughout the year.

Executive-in-Residence and Alumni-in-Residence programs - Stern alumni business leaders share their professional backgrounds with current graduate students. For example, in Fall 2024, Stern hosted an industry panel with healthcare executives Carol Schafer (MBA ’92) Managing Partner, Hyphen Advisors; Karen Weinseiss (MBA ’94) SVP Clinical & Service Operations, Healthfirst; and Hana Dembe (MBA ‘18), Head of Marketing for AI Apps at Tempus Labs.
