Through the generosity of Ashish Contractor (BS ‘97) and Amy Lung Contractor (BS ‘00), the Initiative has established the Contractor Program in Healthcare and Contractor Fellows in Healthcare. These provide dedicated and highly-qualified Stern students interested in this field unique opportunities that contribute to their development as future leaders in the healthcare industry.
Contractor Program in Healthcare
The Contractor Program in Healthcare, made possible by the generous support of Ashish Contractor (BS ‘97) and Amy Lung Contractor (BS ‘00), is focused on developing the next generation of business leaders in Healthcare and HealthTech.
Open to all Stern students, the Contractor Program offers students opportunities including:

Contractor Fellows in Healthcare
The Contractor Fellows in Healthcare is open to advanced-year MBA students who demonstrate outstanding potential with a focus in Healthcare.
The Contractor Fellows will gain access to one-of-a-kind experiential learning, exclusive industry connections, and research opportunities. The Contractor Fellows will provide students with the network and resources essential for making an impact in healthcare. This exclusive leadership development will include activities like:
- Personalized mentorship with industry pioneers
- Innovation workshops, and immersive and cross-disciplinary learning experiences
- Research collaborations addressing healthcare's most pressing challenges
- Stern Signature Experiential Projects
The first-of-its-kind fellowship will nurture exceptional talent and future innovators at the intersection of finance, tech, and healthcare industries. Interested applicants will apply for consideration, and the cohort will comprise high-performing advanced-year MBA candidates, selected by the Healthcare Initiative’s director and a committee of esteemed faculty. The application will open in Spring 2026 for a Fall 2026 start.
