Jeffrey Hollender, Co-Founder and former CEO of Seventh Generation, and Meika Hollender (MBA ’13) Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Sustain Natural, will join MBA students and alumni for a 2017-18 Speaker Series Event.

On November 27, the NYU Stern Office of Alumni Relations will host the next installment of the "Author Lecture Series" featuring Professors Joel Steckel and Allen Adamson. The two will discuss research and findings from their new book entitled Shift Ahead: How the Best Companies Stay Relevant in a Fast-Changing World. President Emeritus John Sexton will moderate the conversation.

On November 16, The NYU Stern Office of Alumni Relations will host the next installment of the "Author Lecture Series" featuring Tim O’Reilly and Professor Arun Sundararajan. They will discuss researching and findings from O’Reilly’s new book entitled, WTF: What’s the Future and Why It’s Up To Us.

A graduate student team from a Stern communication course presented their research on public school funding to a closed-door session. 

On November 10, NYU Stern’s Graduate Marketing Association (GMA) will host its annual conference entitled, “GAMECHANGERS: Industry-Disruptors Challenging the Status Quo.” 

This program is for general and functional business managers who interact regularly with the firm’s finance area; managers who make business decisions that affect the firm’s financial results, or are impacted by financial models; and financial analysts and investors who would like to understand how to interpret the data in financial statements to assess a firm's future prospects and value.

On Friday, November 3, NYU Stern hosted its second-annual FinTech Conference entitled, “The Transformative Potential and Regulatory Challenges of FinTech.” 

NYU Stern’s Leadership Development team welcomed Susan Peters, senior vice president of human resources at GE, for an event entitled, “Tales in Leadership: Managing Change.”

On Saturday, Oct. 28, NYU Stern in Africa will host its annual Stern in Africa Business Forum entitled, “The Tipping Point: Accelerating Africa’s Agenda”.   

On Friday, Oct. 27, the NYU Stern Healthcare Associate (SHA) will host its annual conference themed, “Advancing and Adapting”. The conference will focus on how business is changing the healthcare landscape to meet the needs of the modern patient. 

On October 26, NYU Stern’s Center for Sustainable Business welcomed John McAvoy (MBA ’87), Chairman and CEO of Con Edison, to Stern for a conversation entitled, “How Sustainability Drives Success at Con Edison”.

This program is intended for those who wish to rethink the habits that have made them successful in the past, and challenge the conventional wisdom and industry models that have defined their businesses. To achieve these objectives, this course combines presentations and discussions with practical exercises so that participants can apply disruptive leadership principles to business issues and scenarios.

On October 19, John E. Herzog (MBA '71), former member of the NYU Stern Board of Overseers, sat down with Professor Melissa Schilling for a discussion of his new book, A Billion to One: The Story of Herzog, Heine, Geduld, Inc.
