What matters more in life: Having the right purpose or knowing how to win? Listen in on May 6 as this question is discussed – and debated – by NYU Stern’s own Suzy Welch, Director of the Initiative on Purpose and Flourishing, and 8x Super Bowl winner Bill Belichick. The two longtime friends created this event exclusively for Stern to celebrate an important event: For Professor Welch, a 3X NYT best-selling author already, the publication of “Becoming You: The Proven Method for Crafting Your Authentic Life and Career” and for Coach Belichick the publication of “The Art of Winning: Lessons from my Life in Football.”

​The NYU Entrepreneurs Challenge at the Stern School of Business is NYU's premier springboard for the university's most promising ventures. Part startup accelerator, part venture competition the Entrepreneurs Challenge is a 5-month long program that takes NYU ventures further, faster.

​This year, more than 100 students and alumni from 19 schools and divisions across NYU’s global campuses entered to compete for over $225,000 in prizes and pro bono startup services. Over the past eight months, these teams have engaged in how-to workshops and one-on-one coaching – all in the hopes of taking their ventures to the next level.

​On May 2, the finalist teams will pitch off for a chance to win the grand prize for each of their perspective tracks.

On Monday, April 28, 2025, NYU Stern's Center for Global Economy and Business and the Volatility and Risk Institute will co-host a panel discussion titled "Making Sense of the Recent Gyrations in USD and Treasury Markets." 

On Friday, April 25, NYU Stern's Volatility & Risk Institute will present its Sixth Annual Conference, titled, “Nonbank Financial Intermediation and Financial Stability.” Clinical Professor Richard Berner, co-director of the Institute, will deliver opening remarks.

On Thursday, April 24, the NYU Stern Chen Institute for Global Real Estate, Deutsche Bank, and the Real Estate Pride Council will host the 2025 Real Estate Pride Roundtable.

The Department of Accounting at NYU Stern School of Business will host the Four-School Accounting Research Conference on Friday, April 4, 2025.

This annual conference brings together accounting researchers from four leading northeastern business schools, Columbia Business School, NYU Stern, Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale School of Management.
