Executive MBA Students Explore Bogotá on Global Study Tour

In January, a group of Executive MBA students traveled with Vice Dean and Professor Robert Salomon to Bogotá, Colombia for a Global Study Tour (GST). The students spoke with representatives from an expansive group of companies, including Quala, TransUnion, and Whale & Jaguar and also met with a member of the Board of Directors for the Central Bank of Colombia. The trip included site visits to National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia, Mercantile Exchange of Colombia, Ecopetrol, Rappi and Google.

Highlights also included an entrepreneur panel, local market immersion and sightseeing tour of the city, where students visited La Candelaria, Museo Botero, Plaza de Bolivar and Chorro de Quevedo.

At the conclusion of the week, students had the opportunity to network with EMBA alumni attending Stern’s first-ever alumni Global Study Tour. For more information on the alumni GST, click here.
