On October 2, NYU Stern's "In Conversation with Lord Mervyn King" series hosted Sir Angus Deaton, Nobel Laureate, senior scholar and professor emeritus, Princeton University, and presidential professor of economics, University of Southern California.
Sir Angus and Lord King engaged in a wide-ranging discussion, touching on everything from his decision to become an economist, his research and upcoming book “Deaths of Despair and the Future of Capitalism,” automation and globalization, healthcare and the current political landscape.
