Maureen Trantham (MBA '13)

Maureen Trantham is a Seattle native who began her career as a journalist before serving as Executive Director of Partnership for Learning, an education advocacy nonprofit. At Stern, she worked with the Clinton Foundation and undertook a fellowship with Education Pioneers. Maureen then joined PwC Strategy&, where she led engagements in the media, technology and consumer sectors. She recently joined Sesame Workshop (the creators of Sesame Street) as Vice President of Social Impact Operations.
Starling Hooks

Starling Hooks II (MBA '17)

Starling Hooks II graduated from Vanderbilt University and spent 13 years working along the petroleum value chain before coming to Stern. His MBA centered on Corporate Finance, Strategy and Marketing, and he then joined TIAA’s Corporate Strategy and Development team in New York. Initially focused on strategic consulting activities, he transitioned in 2019 into M&A for the firm. Starling enjoys the arts and culinary scenes in the city and spending time with his daughter Elle and partner Danny.
Bart Rosenthal

Bart Rosenthal (MBA '17)

Bart Rosenthal graduated from Stern’s Undergraduate Program in Finance and International Business and worked in energy trading before returning to Stern for his MBA. He interned at Facebook on the Product Operations team in Menlo Park before being hired full-time as a Product Marketing Manager in the NYC office. There he works on monetized product growth efforts on a number of products like Instagram Stories. Recently, he transitioned to a new role, focusing on Premium Video for North America.
Munashe Makava

Munashe Makava (MBA '17)

Munashe Makava spent over 7 years in Deloitte's audit department working with some of the largest companies in Zimbabwe before coming to Stern. His MBA was focused on finance, strategy and leadership. He interned at Goldman Sachs in the Natural Resources Investment Banking team before returning full-time to their Technology, Media and Telecommunications team in New York. There, Munashe has developed his long-standing passion for media while providing corporate finance and M&A advisory services.
