- Check and complete FAFSA Requirements in your To-Do List.
- Wait for Loan Aggregate Review to be completed.

*All Federal Loan MPNs and Entrance Counseling are valid for 10 years. However, if you apply for a Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan with an endorser, you must sign a new Loan Agreement (MPN) for each additional Graduate PLUS Loan desired.
Applying Loan Payment to Bursar Account
How do I apply my loan to my Bursar bill? Federal student loans post to your Bursar account as Anticipated Aid 3-5 business days after you accept the loan(s), sign both the MPN and Entrance Counseling, and, if applicable, a credit check is completed.
When will the loan be sent to the Bursar? Loan disbursements will occur approximately 10 days prior to the start of your first class for that semester (view your class schedule to determine your disbursement date). Your loan disbursement will always occur after your payment deadline.
*Once your disbursement date approaches, the Anticipated Aid will disappear as the system prepares to receive your payment.
Track Your Federal Student Loans
What You’ll Find on StudentAid.gov: The Federal Student Aid website tracks your borrowed loans, disbursed amounts, accrued interest, repayment status, and loan servicer.
Important Notes on Balance Updates:
New Disbursements: A loan is reported to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) within 30 days of disbursement.
Recent Payments: Outstanding principal balances listed on NSLDS can take up to 120 days to update after you make payments.
Need Current Info? Contact your loan servicer directly for the most up-to-date balance.
