GLOBAL FINTECH 2022: DEFI OR DEFY: MAINSTREAMING DECENTRALIZED FINANCE

NYU Stern's Fubon Center for Technology, Business, and Innovation, and its Fintech initiative, will host Stern's annual FinTech Conference on Friday, February 25, 2022. This year's conference will focus on Global Fintech 2022: Defi or Defy: Mainstreaming Decentralized Finance

Join recognized Fintech academics, forward-looking financial institutions, innovative Fintech startups, Stern alumni, and leading Fintech investors for Defi or Defy, the Fubon Center for Technology, Business and Innovation’s annual Fintech Conference. Our unique conference connects academics and practitioners at the forefront of fintech.

DeFi, (Decentralized Finance), the blockchain-enabled automation of financial services, is poised to transform financial systems, businesses, and accepted theories. DeFi research is in its infancy, and DeFi commerce is already reshaping financial services. The Fubon Center catalyzes interdisciplinary research, and NYU Stern faculty and our broader fintech community are already exploring this vast, expanding, and unmarked terrain.

Topics include but are not limited to DeFi transformation of asset pricing, financial intermediation, corporate finance, banking and trading operations, payments systems, insurance, risk management, and private equity, and the associated global policies, regulations and security risks.

We invite you to stay close to this fast-moving frontier. Your attendance at our panels, demos, and networking events during the conference will contribute to academics', practitioners', and policymakers' collective understanding of DeFi.

This virtual conference has a maximum capacity of 1000 guests. Registration does not guarantee access to the event if capacity is reached. We look forward to seeing you there!
