Addressing a pivotal moment for the multifamily sector, senior leaders in industry, government, and academia will convene in New York City for the National Apartment Finance and Investment Summit on Thursday, October 16. Structured as a forum for high-level, candid dialogue, the Summit explores the most consequential forces shaping apartment investment, development, and operations—spanning finance, policy, risk, and innovation.

The agenda will address a range of topics and themes, including:

  • Changes in federal policies impacting the apartment sector
  • Strategies to address persistent affordability challenges
  • The integration of artificial intelligence in underwriting and property operations
  • Disruptions in property insurance markets
  • Emerging issues at the intersection of capital, regulation, and technology

Featured speakers include:

  • MaryAnne Gilmartin, Founder and CEO of MAG Partners, renowned for her contributions in shaping the New York City skyline through some of its most ambitious development projects
  • Jeff DeBoer, Founding President and CEO of The Real Estate Roundtable, the definitive voice of the commercial real estate industry in its engagement with the executive and legislative branches of the federal government, informing policy on the sector’s most critical issues
  • Sharon Wilson Géno, President of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), the principal voice for the apartment industry in Washington, D.C., advocating on behalf of owners, managers, developers, and investors in rental housing
  • Samir Goel, Co-Founder of Esusu, a pioneering financial technology company driving rent reporting and credit-building innovations that have scaled across the multifamily sector

Speakers and attendees represent a convergence of perspectives across capital markets, public policy, real estate development, and technology.
