2026 Apartment Finance and Investment Summit

Addressing a pivotal moment for the multifamily sector, senior leaders in industry, government, and academia will convene in New York City for the second National Apartment Finance and Investment Summit on Tuesday, November 3. Built around conversation rather than presentation, the Summit addresses the full range of issues confronting the apartment market in New York City and nationally, with discussions led by representatives of many of the leading firms in the space.

The agenda will address a range of topics and themes, including:

• The reset in interest rates and capital markets, and its implications for pricing, debt, and new investment
• The adoption of artificial intelligence in property operations, underwriting, and asset management
• Venture capital investment and innovation in the multifamily sector
• Supply, absorption, and the outlook for rent growth in New York City and national markets
• New York City housing policy, including rent regulation and incentives for new rental construction
• The economics of office-to-residential conversion

The Summit is not a ticketed event. Attendance is by invitation only and is limited to 100 participants, primarily industry professionals, policymakers, and academics. Members of the real estate community may request a seat through the seat request page. We will do our best to accommodate as many requests as possible. Arrival and Building Access

• Registration and breakfast open at 9:00 AM, and the program begins promptly at 9:20 AM. Please plan to arrive by 9:10 AM, as clearing security and reaching the 10th floor takes some time.
• Venue: Rosenthal Pavilion, 10th Floor, NYU Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South, New York, NY 10012.
• JRNY Pass: NYU requires a visitor pass for building entry. Registered guests will receive an NYU JRNY Pass by email on Monday, November 2. Please check spam or promotions folders and have the pass ready on your phone.
• Identification: Please bring a government-issued photo ID that matches the name you registered with. Building security will check it against the guest list along with your JRNY Pass.
• Attire: Business attire, please.
• Bags: The Kimmel Center screens bags at the entrance. Please avoid large bags or luggage; a briefcase or small bag is fine.
• Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, is Election Day. In New York, polls are open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, so there is time to vote before or after the program. We believe this information is accurate, but please confirm poll times with your local polling station.

The Summit is closed to press, and discussions are held on a not-for-attribution basis. A conference brief covering key themes will be shared after the event without attributing comments to any individual. Photographs will be taken during the Summit for the Chen Institute’s use.
