This course is designed for those who understand that topics such as social responsibility, environmental sustainability, ethics and morality, diversity and inclusion, and employee well-being have become integral components of leading a competitive and profitable company, and are looking for the knowledge skills necessary to embed these concepts in their organizations and themselves.

This course is designed to assist executives in developing the knowledge, skills and perspective they need to understand and address these environmental and social challenges, and build companies that meet the needs of society while delivering economic returns to shareholders and stakeholders.

For the first four weeks of this program, students will learn how to program in R for effective data manipulation and visualization. They will also develop the ability to create control structures, such as loops and conditional statements, to traverse, sort, merge, and evaluate data. The following four weeks of the program will focus on techniques for data preparation — how to choose, create, and edit graphics, as well as best practices for presenting your visualizations.

In this 4-week course, students will learn how to program in R for effective data manipulation and visualization. Students will import, transform, and manipulate datasets for various analytical purposes. Students will develop the ability to create control structures, such as loops and conditional statements to traverse, sort, merge, and evaluate data. This course is designed for those who have no experience in R or programming.

In this course, participants will learn about the Nobel prize-winning Modigliani-Miller (MM) Theorem of capital structure, and examine the effects of leverage on firm value and equity risk.

In this course, participants will learn the tools and methods needed to make more informed financial decisions.

On Friday, May 14, the final teams in the Entrepreneurs Challenge, hosted by NYU Stern's Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship, will pitch off to see which ventures win the grand prizes.

On Thursday, April 22, NYU Stern's Center for Global Economy and Business hosted a fireside chat with Dr. Henry Kaufman to discuss his book: “The Day the Markets Roared: How a 1982 Forecast Sparked a Global Bull Market.”
