NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and New York University Stern School of Business announced the Volatility and Risk Institute at NYU Abu Dhabi (VaRIAD), a partnership with and expansion of the Stern Volatility and Risk Institute (VRI). This launch builds upon VRI’s global presence, which included expansion to NYU Shanghai in 2014, creating a powerful research network across the world’s key financial regions and in locations as part of NYU’s global network. 

NYU Stern Professor Robert Seamans, Founding Director of Stern’s Center for the Future of Management, is a leading voice in the conversation on how technology is transforming business.

The Prix Galien is an international awards program dedicated to progress through innovative medicines development, with chapters in 14 countries and Africa. It is overseen by The Galien Foundation, which fosters, recognizes and rewards excellence in scientific innovation to improve the state of human health. Endless Frontier Labs was recognized with this honor at the 19th annual Prix Galien Awards Gala at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

On Monday, October 20, the NYU Stern Center for Global Economy and Business and Volatility and Risk Institute will host a roundtable with Joachim Nagel, President of the Bundesbank; Debora Revoltella, Chief Economist, European Investment Bank; Boris Vujčić, Governor of the Croatian National Bank.

Excerpt from Poets&Quants — “Applications to NYU Stern School of Business’s full-time MBA program jumped to nearly 5,000 for the Class of 2027 — a 60% increase from just two years ago.
