The Office of Student Engagement

The Office of Student Engagement (OSE) supports the graduate community by inspiring and enabling our students to broaden their perspective and explore their potential to create value for the world through business. Taking advantage of Stern's location at the center of global business, we offer educational experiences that transcend the classroom. We create unparalleled opportunities to help students develop a global mindset, grow as leaders and transform ideas into action while making a lasting impact.


Asian Business Society

Asian Business Society (ABS) is a graduate student organization at NYU Stern School of Business dedicated to fostering interest in both domestic and international Asian business environments. Actively supporting Asian Americans, Asian international students seeking careers in the U.S. or abroad, and students of all ethnic backgrounds interested in pursuing careers in Asia. ABS serves as a primary career conduit for those seeking international opportunities in Asia and as a support network for those pursuing domestic opportunities.


Association of Hispanic and Black Business Students

Association of Hispanic and Black Business Students is an MBA Student Club for students of NYU Stern. AHBBS is an integral part of Stern. As one of the largest and most active student clubs, AHBBS has been the organization for students who want to participate in events and programs related to Black and Hispanic cultures, regardless of ethnic background. AHBBS augments the student experience through the planning and execution of academic, social, and professional events.


European Business Society

European Business Society (EBS) facilitates events and aims to increase understanding of European business-related issues within the Stern community. Open to all students, EBS serves as a professional, educational, and social forum for students interested in European cultures and business opportunities. 


Jewish Students Association (JSA)

Jewish Students Association (JSA) is a graduate student organization aiming to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of Jewish culture, tradition, and history within the Stern community through a range of educational and social initiatives. JSA fosters a welcoming environment where students can gather, engage in meaningful conversations, and build valuable networks. As a social organization, membership is open to all graduate students, regardless of religious faith. Activities are planned for both members and the Stern community.


Latin American Business Association

Latin American Business Association (LABA) promotes academic, cultural, and professional exchange between Latin America and the Stern community. LABA is open to all students and hosts annual conferences and other events to discuss and explore key business, economic, and political trends in the region.


Middle East and North Africa Club

Middle East and North Africa Club (MENA) is a student organization focused on sharing the culture and values of the MENA region through events like cultural exchanges, food events, networking mixers, and discussions on regional business and geopolitics. MENA aims to foster a sense of community and heritage, welcoming anyone interested in the region.


Military Veterans Club (MVC)

Military Veterans Club (MVC) supports U.S. military veterans and active duty students transitioning to business school through academic and professional development, networking, and charitable efforts for other veterans. Any NYU Stern student is eligible for membership.


Muslims in Business (MiB)

Muslims in Business (MiB) fosters a supportive community for all students in business and interested in Muslim cultures, focusing on professional development, networking, mentorship, and bridging Islamic values with the business world. The club is open to students of any ethnic or religious background interested in Islamic finance and the halal market.


OutClass

OutClass is NYU Stern’s LGBTQ+ organization for MBA students, supporting queer individuals as they grow into future business leaders and open to all members of the Stern community. Through events, networking, and community-building, OutClass fosters connection, inclusion, and leadership development for everyone.


South Asian Business Association (SABAS)

South Asian Business Association (SABAS) serves as a collaborative link between South Asia and the Stern community as a whole. SABAS membership is open to all students and creates a platform for exchanging academic, inter-cultural, and professional ideas at Stern.


Stern in Africa (SIA)

Stern in Africa (SIA) is an association for all Stern MBA students interested in Africa, dedicated to increasing exposure to business and investment opportunities on the continent through professional, educational, and social events, and to promoting investments in Africa by serving as a conduit for students seeking career opportunities related to Africa. 


Stern Women in Business (SWIB)

Stern Women in Business (SWIB) is a distinctive organization that is committed to promoting students' personal and professional development through social, networking, and educational opportunities. SWIB’s goal is to cultivate an informed, active, supportive MBA community for all students, and, in doing so, to be a positive force for gender equality in the world beyond Stern. Our membership includes any interested students in the Stern’s MBA programs, and extends to Stern's powerful alumni network.
