Future Makers: An NYU Stern Pre-College Institute
August 3–7, 2026 | New York City
Future Makers is a five-day, in-person experience for students in Grades 9–12 who are ready to explore their potential, build community, and think like future business leaders.  Hosted at NYU Stern School of Business in the heart of Greenwich Village, this immersive institute introduces students to how organizations make decisions, solve problems, and create value. Through faculty sessions, hands-on activities, and team collaboration, students will develop critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills while participating in a week-long business simulation.  Throughout the week, students will work in teams to analyze information, evaluate opportunities, develop strategies, and present recommendations related to a fictional business challenge. Along the way, they will learn how leaders use strategy, financial analysis, customer insights, and communication to make effective decisions.  NYU Stern graduate and undergraduate student leaders will serve as near-peer mentors, guiding discussions, offering feedback, and supporting teams throughout the week.
