Future Makers: An NYU Stern Pre-College Institute
August 3–7, 2026 | New York City
Future Makers is a five-day, in-person experience for students in Grades 9–12 who are ready to explore their potential, build community, and think like future business leaders.
Hosted at NYU Stern School of Business in the heart of Greenwich Village, this immersive institute introduces students to the core disciplines of business—including Finance, Marketing, Management, Accounting, Data & Technology, and Sustainable Business—while developing the skills and confidence needed to navigate future academic and career pathways.
At the center of the experience is a team-based project. Students are placed into small teams at the start of the program and collaborate throughout the week to tackle a real-world business challenge. This hands-on approach allows students to apply new concepts, practice problem-solving, and learn how to work effectively with others.
Each day, students engage in faculty-led sessions with NYU Stern professors who bring business concepts to life through real-world examples and interactive discussion. Throughout the program, teams are supported by NYU Stern graduate and undergraduate student leaders, who serve as near-peer mentors—guiding conversations, offering feedback, and helping students stay engaged and confident in their ideas.
Students also benefit from direct engagement with corporate partners, gaining exposure to industry perspectives, career pathways, and professional insights through meaningful, small-group interactions.
By the end of the week, students will:
- Develop a stronger understanding of how business addresses real-world challenges
- Build confidence in communicating ideas and working in teams
- Gain exposure to a range of business disciplines and career pathways
- Strengthen their ability to think critically and solve problems
Future Makers is more than a pre-college program—it is an opportunity to step into a community, challenge yourself, and begin shaping the way you think about your future.
Cost: $650 Per Student
