Advanced Professional Certificates: General Business | Deadlines and Notification

To receive an admission decision by the notification date below, your application must be submitted online by 11:59 PM U.S. Eastern Time on the day of the deadline, and official transcripts must be postmarked by the deadline date.

Incomplete Applications

If your application is not complete (for example, missing test scores, essays or other items, illegible scanned transcript) you will be informed via your application status page. If you do not provide a completed application by the deadline, we cannot guarantee notification by the initial notification date.

You can check the status of your application at any time on your application status page. Your application status page indicates any missing application requirements, and you are able to upload outstanding or supplemental materials directly to this page. Please note:

• You will receive an email confirmation once you have submitted your application. Please be sure to pay your application fee. Your application will not be processed until your application fee has been received.
• Initial notifications will be issued on a rolling basis according to the deadline for which you applied. 

To protect your privacy, we do not release the status of your application or decisions via email or phone. You must check your application status page.

If your application was completed by the deadline, you will receive an admission decision no later than the notification date for that deadline.

You will be emailed when your status has changed on the application status page.

Possible admissions decisions are as follows:

• Offer of admission
• Interview invitation
• Waitlist offer
• Denial of admission

All decisions of the Admissions Committee are final.

Interviews

The Admissions Committee conducts a very limited number of interviews for the Advanced Professional Certificate program. Interviews are available by invitation only. The majority of Advanced Professional Certificate program admission decisions are made without an interview.

If the Admissions Committee invites you to interview, you will receive the invitation and scheduling information via email.

The interview is evaluative and provides the Admissions Committee with more information on your qualifications. After the interview, it typically will take up to three weeks to receive a decision.
