Why did you decide to pursue the focused one-year MBA program?
I chose the one-year Fashion and Luxury MBA because it aligned perfectly with my career goals in the industry. This program allowed me to gain the necessary knowledge and skills without taking a two-year break from work, ensuring I could quickly apply what I learned to my career.
How did you find a sense of community and support within Stern?
The intensity of the summer semester, with its rigorous classes and demanding schedule, played a pivotal role in bringing our cohort closer together. We quickly realized that we were all in the same boat, facing similar challenges and deadlines. This common experience created a strong sense of camaraderie and mutual support.
The feeling that "everyone has each other's back" was not just a sentiment; it translated into a tangible support system within our cohort. We often found ourselves collaborating, studying together, and sharing resources to help one another succeed. This sense of unity not only made the academic journey more manageable but also enhanced our friendship.
As we faced academic and personal hurdles, the bonds we formed during the intense summer semester became a source of strength.
How would you describe the culture and community within your class?
From the very beginning, I've noticed that my classmates have gone out of their way to build connections and foster a sense of belonging. We not only work together on academic projects but also genuinely care about each other's well-being. This sense of camaraderie extends beyond the classroom and academic pursuits, and it's not uncommon for classmates to offer assistance, whether it's with coursework or personal challenges.
What was your favorite class at Stern?
I’ve enjoyed the class Retail Strategy and Analytics with Prof Jack Hanlon. His way of explaining concepts and discussing case studies with us is truly insightful and keeps us all engaged.
What has been a highlight of your Stern experience?
Becoming a GA and getting to meet so many prospective students and let them know about my experience at Stern!

I chose NYU Stern for several compelling reasons. Many of these connections have the potential to become lasting friendships that extend well beyond your time in school. It's essential to allocate time and effort to develop these relationships because they can provide valuable support and contribute to your personal growth and sense of camaraderie.
