Entrepreneurship & Innovation Specialization Description

The specialization in Entrepreneurship and Innovation equips students with the tools and concepts necessary for a career as an entrepreneur or an investor in entrepreneurial ventures.  A requirement for the specialization is Foundations of Entrepreneurship, a course that offers a broad look at starting, funding and managing new businesses, or Foundations of Social Entrepreneurship, a course that focuses on public service or nonprofit enterprises.  The specialization prepares entrepreneurially-minded students with a valuable understanding of what it is like to work in venture capital, private equity, social entrepreneurship and small businesses.
