2025 Private Capital Strategies Symposium

We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Private Capital Strategies Symposium, hosted by the Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance, will be held at the NYU Stern School of Business on Thursday, September 18, 2025. This invitation-only program will gather senior professionals in investment management—including general partners, limited partners, fund principals, and strategic liquidity providers—to examine GP stakes and liquidity solutions in the real asset sector.

The program features plenary presentations and roundtable discussions led by acquisitions professionals from leading GP-stakes funds, partners and principals from strategic liquidity providers, and institutional investors sharing LP perspectives on product alignment and governance. Sessions will probe emerging GP-stakes structures, novel liquidity products—from continuation vehicles and preferred equity to bespoke credit facilities—and quantitative frameworks for navigating volatility in today’s real asset markets.

Attendees will sharpen their understanding of private capital strategies by acquiring practical frameworks for evaluating and executing liquidity mandates, benchmarking transaction structures against industry best practices, and deepening insights into risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance. Closed to the press, interactive sessions will emphasize candid peer-to-peer dialogue and professional connections.
