On December 13, 2019, NYU Stern's Executive MBA Program and NYU Washington DC hosted a fireside chat at NYU’s downtown DC location featuring Dean Raghu Sundaram in conversation with Professor Tensie Whelan, Director of Stern’s Center for Sustainable Business. Professor Naomi Diamant, Assistant Dean of Executive Programs and Academic Director of EMBA Programs, introduced Professor Whelan.

During the conversation, Dean Sundaram and Professor Whelan delved into relevant questions around sustainability in business today. The conversation was part of a required Speaker Series course for all EMBA DC students. The course is designed to foster a deeper, interdisciplinary understanding and broader perspective of current issues, opportunities and challenges leaders face in today’s dynamic business environment. Students from both the DC20 and DC21 cohorts were in attendance.
