Stern-Tisch BS/BFA

Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business - Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film and Television

The Stern-Tisch BS/BFA is designed for students with a passion for film and television, and an interest in the business aspects of these industries. The dual degree requires 160 units and takes approximately five years (10 semesters) to complete and ensures graduates are uniquely prepared to pursue entrepreneurial creative endeavors or embark on careers in the film and television industry. More information about the program can be found here.

The Stern-Tisch BS/BFA is open to first-year students and sophomores currently enrolled in either the BS in Business program at Stern or the Kanbar Department of Undergraduate Film and Television at Tisch. Interested students will apply in mid-February for entrance as a dual degree transfer in the following fall. Stern applicants must also submit a creative portfolio. Learn more about the process by clicking here. Please note that only a handful of students will be admitted every year to this program. Also, once admitted and matriculated, all students enrolled in the BS-BFA program will pay tuition and fees at the Tisch rate every semester, regardless of course selection or originating school.
