60 Credit Hour Limit

  • MBA students are eligible for aid up to the completion of 60 credits, all of which must apply to the degree. If you repeat a course, please know that once you reach 60 credits, you will no longer be eligible for any federal aid.
  • Students who have/will have completed 60 credit hours but have not completed their degree requirements may submit a written appeal to the Financial Aid Office. The appeal will have to outline the reasons why the student was not able to complete his/her degree.
  • The Registrar's Office will run a degree audit for review and the decision will be made by the Director of Stern Graduate Financial Aid after having consulted with the Academic Affairs and Advising Office.
