Tell us a bit about your career path and your entrepreneurial journey.

We got a chance to catch up with Eric Berger, MBA '08, about his career in wealth management and the path that led him to launch the UBS InsightShares LGBT Employment Equality exchange-traded fund. Having graduated also from GSAS with a master's degree in politics and international relations, Berger blends his strengths to make a greater social impact.

Tell us about your current role, and the path you followed to get there.

We got a chance to hear from Corey Phelps, MPhil '01, PhD '03, associate professor of strategy and organization and associate dean of executive education at McGill. He shares details about his academic career, advice for current students and recent grads, and the impact Stern had on his research. 

Tell us about your current roles at McGill University.

We caught up with Allison Moss, MBA ’09, founder of type:A, a clean beauty brand featuring natural deodorant. Allison transitioned from a career in beauty marketing to entrepreneurship, finding a way to align her passion for clean products with her professional endeavors. She describes the aha moment that led to her creating type:A, and highlights the experiences – and Stern courses – that have helped guide her success. 

You are the founder of type:A brands. Can you tell us a little bit about your career path and entrepreneurial journey?

We got a chance to hear from recent alumna Sara Sindelar, MBA '17, Experiential Marketing Manager, Corporate Marketing at IBM about her career path and her expertise in marketing. At Stern, Sindelar specialized in Digital Marketing and was involved with Langone Student Government. She shares insights as a leading innovator in her field.

Tell us about your current role at IBM. 

We caught up with Courtney Reagan, MBA '13, CNBC Retail Reporter, general assignment reporter for CNBC's Business Day programming, and contributor to NBC's "TODAY," "NBC Nightly News," and "Nightly Business Report," along with CNBC.com. At Stern, Reagan specialized in Economics, Luxury Marketing, and Entertainment, Media & Technology and was involved in Stern Women in Business and the Media, Entertainment and Sports Association. She shares insights as a journalist and highlights from her time at Stern.

We had a chance to talk with Susan Veksler, BS '03, about her career and the company she co-founded, Caissa, LLC. Caissa is a software development firm that provides front-office software solutions to allow institutions such as endowments, foundations, pension funds, family offices, and CIOs to integrate a wide spectrum of investment-related analytics into a single web-based platform. Susan double majored in Finance and Management and Organizational Behavior while at Stern. 

Tell us about Caissa and why you co-founded it?

“I view each step in my career and education as building blocks,” says Manuel Sansigre, Vice President of Global Corporate Finance at Penguin Random House. “I want to have a full scope of all the different things that are going on in business. I often evaluate: what are the gaps in my education and in my career?”
